Trail Fest

Celebrate Outdoor Recreation and the Appalachian Trail at our annual Dahlonega Trail Fest. Few people know that Dahlonega is considered an “Appalachian Trail Community” due to our proximity to Springer Mountain, the southern terminus of the Appalachian Trail. The Dahlonega Trail Fest has something for all outdoor enthusiasts, novice hikers, or thru-hikers. The Yahoola Trails Conservancy host this weekend-long event in September and is sponsored by numerous Dahlonega Trail Fest partners. This event includes a plethora of outdoor events, vendors, live music, and speakers.
