Lavender Festival Coming Up Fast!
Red Oak is the largest lavender farm in Georgia open to the public, where you can see lavender growing and blooming. Red Oak is a real farm -- with chickens and everything…
Indulge your sweet tooth at one of Dahlonega’s most beloved annual traditions—the Dahlonega Chocolate Crawl!
First launched in 2021 by the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Visitors Bureau, this event was created to celebrate the town’s love for all things chocolate. What began as a small, sweet celebration has grown into a downtown-wide experience, with more businesses joining the fun each year.
Now proudly organized by the Dahlonega Downtown Development Authority & Main Street Program, the Chocolate Crawl continues to bring locals and visitors together for a delicious adventure.
Stroll through Dahlonega’s charming historic square and enjoy chocolate-themed treats at participating shops, restaurants, and chocolatiers. From rich hot chocolate and decadent fudge to pies, cookies, drinks, and more, this is your chance to discover (or rediscover) your favorite chocolate indulgence.
Start your crawl by picking up a Chocolate Crawl Passport at the Dahlonega Visitor Center or the DDA Offices. Then make your way through town, checking off sweet stops and sampling the best chocolate creations Dahlonega has to offer.
