The space
The cabin has a tin roof, cedar siding, pine floors on the mail living level and pine doors throughout. The stone wood burning fireplace is the focal point of the living room with comfortable leather sofa, chair, and ottoman. The kitchen is furnished with plenty of dishes, flat ware, pots, pans, utensils, small appliances, mixer, waffle iron, toaster, coffee maker, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave
There is room for bikes or bicycles to be parked in the right garage bay. The left garage bay is being used as a “hangout" spot/board game room/ man cave with mismatched rugs, sleeper sofa, recliner & futon couch & chair..
This cabin is the place for you if you want a break from the city noise and a place to social distance with out being too far from society. It is a great place to relax and connect or reconnect with your family or friends and the perfect location when attending weddings or other events in Dahlonega (especially at Montaluce Winery, Vezalay, Juliette Chapel, Forrest Hills, etc.) Unlike most cabins, we now allow a 30 day stay, but also extend if available. For 30 day stay see our long term listing . Great for those new to the area , working from home, traveling nurses. & other professionals. The cabin is absolutely one of the closest rentals to Montaluce Winery . We have had many wedding guests book our property. We have had engagements as well as brides & grooms.

There are notebooks located in the living room with brochures from nearby restaurants, activities, and services. Please sign our guest book and write a note on the note pad in the memory book. There are many activities in North Georgia that you can enjoy when visiting Montaluce Mountain Cabin year round. Check Dahlonega.org for local activities. The cabin can be reached by only 3 turns on all paved roads off highway 400.
Guests will be provided their code for access to the cabin, directions, restaurant recommendations, and check-in instructions prior to their arrival date. Please provide your e-mail address and cell phone number upon booking to insure that you receive this information. If not received, please call Lindy
Please call Lindy or Tori if you have any problems with your code to access the cabin. Our numbers are provided to you by Airbnb upon booking. The access code to retrieve the key is changed after each guest for your privacy and security.
Other things to note
Remember taxes & fees are to be paid prior to arrival and are not included by Airbnb when booking, but are required by the state of Georgia and Lumpkin county to be paid. Taxes may be paid preferably and after booking directly to Airbnb through the resolution center with a credit card in following Airbnb guidelines. This may be verified with Airbnb. The required taxes are 12% Georgia State tax and 5% Lumpkin County Occupancy tax. My required business license is displayed on the kitchen wall. I am also a member of the Dahlonega-Lumpkin County Chamber of Commerce.
Please DO NOT LOCK basement Bedroom door, but shut it when you leave. Please DO NOT LOCK the door leading from living room to downstairs, but also shut it when you leave.
Make sure commode is not running during stay & before you leave. You will run out of water if commode is left running. Can run the well dry and ruin pump. We have a new (2017) 50 gallon hot water heater, but with multiple guests, it is best not to all take long showers. To divert water from tub to shower pull disc on water spicket down.
No smoking, No illegal drugs, No PETS, No HIGH HEEL SHOES (ruins and dents pine flooring)!
Pets may be boarded at Rock House Groom and Board, just off the town square, 365 days a year. They are very affordable and friendly. They will meet you anytime. See their web site and tell them I referred you. We have boarded and used their services for our own dog.
Please remove your shoes at the door due to Covid 19 & also to keep the floors clean.
No parties (without my prior permission) The neighbors must be respected.

Merrill-Army Ranger Camp (military ID required), North Georgia Zoo, panning for gold and gems at Crisson Mine, 100 gap bicycle race, local festivals, and many more adventures!
