Hallmark’s “Christmas in Homestead” movie was filmed in Dahlonega’s downtown square, and when you visit, it’s easy to see why! Our historic square, built in the early 1800s, has been lovingly cared for and restored. Wrapped in scarves and hats and mittens, locals and visitors alike keep the square bustling in winter, like something out of … well, a Hallmark movie.
