Come experience the ultimate getaway in North Georgia. Lumpkin County STR#153 The space This designer treehouse is right in the heart of wine country yet only 12 minutes to the Dahlonega Square. The expansive deck is perfect for sipping wine and enjoying the views. Outfitted with a Kitchenette with small retro fridge and microwave, a Yeti cooler for drinks, a toaster oven, Nespresso machine and a French press for those discerning coffee drinkers, this designer decorated treehouse is sure to wow with everything you need to enjoy time away in the mountains of North Georgia. Our craftsmen have paid attention to every detail. Nearly everything is custom made and crafted by our artisans. Sleeping arrangements are a king bed in loft (access to the loft is up a ladder) which can be made into two singles if requested. A couch for additional sleeping is on the main floor. There is a yellow slip covered small console on the main floor that opens up into a twin bed. There is also a premium blow up twin bed in the closet in the loft. Let us know prior to arrival and we will have it set up for you. There are two bathrooms, one with vanity and toilet, the second with vanity and shower. Spring fed creek on property for exploring. Please note that to reach the treehouse you will park below in the designated parking area then continue up a marked trail to the treehouse. It is about 2 minute walk. Guest access Guests have access to the entire treehouse including the fire pit, porch, and the 7 acres of grounds, along with 'work remote' Wifi. There is a Nature Trailhead in the valley of the property for you to enjoy. The designated parking area is marked with a “Daybreak Parking Here” sign for you just inside the gate. There are 3 other units located on this large property. All of the units are spaced out to maximize privacy for each group. Other things to note There is a 2-3 minute walk up a lit trail from the parking area to the entrance of the treehouse. This is a one of a kind experience in Dahlonega and the short 'hike' in begins your adventure! No need to overpack...kick back and enjoy North Georgia. The overall design was crafted by Susan Scranton. There are so many unique features that set it apart. Below are a few. Hand scribed live edge poplar floors Large deck for outdoor enjoyment whose shape mirrors the treehouse itself Back deck perched high above the fern forest with two custom whiskey barrel Adirondack chairs Main bed is a queen tucked into its own nook with views out the massive window Custom cabinets in kitchen and bath built by the Treehouse Squad A Living roof covered in moss (will be planted this fall in the cooler weather) Built around a massive oak tree that runs through middle of the treehouse Huge glass window overlooking the Fern Forest Concrete site poured countertops Shou Sugi Ban cypress siding- an ancient technique where the wood is charred using a torch. This makes the wood rot and insect resistant. Glass tiled shower with rainfall shower head. Whiskey barrel Adirondack chairs custom made by the Treehouse Squad All rainfall is channeled to the back of the roof and directed at the base of the tree ensuring the tree has plenty of water. Deck boasts a grill and a built in YETI cooler for extra cold storage. Guest access There are two parking spots right near the entrance to the treehouse. Guest have access to the entire treehouse including the fire pit, front porch, and the 7 acres of grounds, as well as 'work remote' Wifi. There is a Nature Trail just below the Treehouse that is available for guests use. There are 3 other units located on this large property.
