Envision yourself floating peacefully down the Chestatee River, surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the North Georgia Mountains. This dream can become a reality at Appalachian Outfitters. Appalachian Outfitters offers all the necessary gear for tubing, kayaking, and canoeing, along with a shuttle to transport you to the beginning of the float! The trip will typically last anywhere from 30-45 minutes. However, if you are still in the mood to float longer at the end of the journey, you can take a 10-minute hike or take the shuttle back to the beginning and float again. The trip offers a peaceful ride downstream, and occasionally, the river picks up speed, creating gentle rapids and adding a thrill to your adventure.
