Highlights of the event:

Presentation of the historic WWII Blood Chit artifact by Karen Boquist Gelineau, daughter of 1st Lt. Gladstone Boquist, whose service and legacy are preserved through this extraordinary artifact. Joined by Denise Swords, Owner of Caring Transitions of Cumming, Karen will present the Blood Chit to the Board of Directors of Dahlonega's Military Museum and Henry Ostaszewski, Owner of Blue 42, As an official museum outpost, Blue 42 will display the artifact along with a copy of "Bomber Boys" to help preserve and share this remarkable story, inspiring future generations through history, community, and conversation.
