Spend an evening exploring the haunted side of Dahlonega and then step inside the historic 1909 Head House for a special paranormal investigation.
The Ghost Walk
We’ll meet at the Dahlonega Walking Tours office at 7:00 PM and begin with a short ghost walk around the historic Square.
Along the way, we’ll explore the history behind some of Dahlonega’s hauntings and consider one particularly intriguing question:
Why does a small mountain town like Dahlonega seem to have so much paranormal activity?
For more than 12 years, Dahlonega Walking Tours has collected stories of unexplained encounters from local residents, business owners, employees and guests. We’ll share some of those stories and the history surrounding them before heading to our featured investigation location.
Then it’s time to enter the Head House, built in 1909.
The Investigation
We’ll spend approximately 1½ to 2 hours conducting a paranormal investigation inside the Head House.
Guests are welcome to bring their own paranormal equipment. We will also provide equipment for the group to use, including:
EMF readers
Dowsing rods
Spirit box
Para4CE Polterscript device
This isn’t a haunted attraction. There are no jump scares, actors or manufactured paranormal activity. Instead, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in an actual investigation inside a historic Dahlonega building.
Will we experience something unexplained? There’s only one way to find out.
