Join us at the historic Vickery House for an afternoon of craft. Ester Lipscomb leads the class in creation of a forest floor inspired vase, dish, or luminary. All skill levels and ages are welcome in this hand building clay class. We start with stumps, then festoon them with fungi, lichen, snails ~ your choice. Let your imagination run wild, or let Ester lead you (if imagination isn’t your strongest skill). Your woodland creation can become a vase, a mug, a luminary, an dish~ hand building allows for many forms. Under 14 welcome with an adult. Ester Lipscomb is a UNG graduate and ceramics educator living in the mountains of North Georgia. She is a Ceramics Artist~Educator at the Bascom Center for Visual Arts in Highlands, NC.
