Award-winning children’s theater director, and Holly Theater board member, Nathan Gerrells, delivers a hilarious and endearing performance as Seymour Krelbourn. He shares the stage with Seymour’s love interest Audrey, played by Taylor Cassell, and his cranky boss Mr. Mushnik, performed by Bill Hacker.

Nathan has directed summer camp productions at the Holly Theater for the past three years and also directed White Christmas for the Holly in 2014. He recently performed in The Nerd this past February.

Taylor Cassell is celebrating her 4th show at the Holly. She recently starred in Moon over Buffalo at the Holly Theater and in Annie Get Your Gun at the Cumming Playhouse.

Bill Hackers is a seasoned actor and has performed in Arsenic and Old Lace, Father of the Bride, My Fair Lady, and the Holly Theater’s performance of Macbeth last fall.

The main star of the show comes in an unexpected form that will leave the audience amazed. Various puppets are manipulated to portray the growth of the blood-hungry plant Audrey II. Behind the larger-than-life plant is puppeteer David Cheatham who works seamlessly with the voice actor for Audrey II, Seth McWhorter to execute a charming, funky, and slyly evil performance.

Our hats off to the outstanding props and puppet work of Chuck Althafer and Tyler Althafer of Iron Zepplin Production on their work creating the various Audrey IIs and to Cathy McMullan on her fantastic costume design!

Little Shop of Horrors will have you dancing, laughing, and cringing (in a good way) the entire way through! Tickets are $20.00 for adults and $12.00 for students and are available for purchase online at www.hollytheater.com. We recommend leaving the little ones at home for this play; adult themes are present throughout.
