Enjoy summer Friday evenings in Hancock Park in Historic Downtown Dahlonega, while soaking in family film favorites on a 23-foot screen. Movie start times vary slightly depending on the degree of darkness – a catch-all phrase is that movies start at dusk.

We invite you to load the car with your blankets and chairs – and the kids -- the second Friday of every month from May through August. These fun-filled evenings with the family and community will kick off this Friday, May 13 with Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur.

Save the date for future movies:

June 10: Alvin & The Chipmunks Road Chip

July 8: Goosebumps

August 12: Zootopia

Before settling down to enjoy the film at dusk, secure your spot and let your children work out some energy with activities the kids will love, like coloring and free giveaways starting at 6:00 pm. Be sure to visit the concession stand featuring summer favorites such as snow cones, hot dogs, popcorn and cotton candy (concession proceeds benefit Lumpkin Youth Leadership).

If the weather decides to rain on our party, don’t let that stop you from coming out! You can still join us over at our rain location in the Lumpkin County Middle School 7th/8th Grade Gym, located at 44 School Drive.
