Kangaroo Conservation Center

KangaroosThe Kangaroo Conservation Center is dedicated to the preservation of kangaroo species through captive breeding and public education.

The Center boasts the largest kangaroo collection outside Australia, currently exhibiting hundreds of kangaroos of 9 species. The Center has successfully bred and cared for over a dozen different species of marsupials in the past 24 years.

The Kangaroo Conservation Center is located on 87 scenic acres with native and exotic plants with hiking trails and walking paths through natural habitats. Experience the "KangaRanger" guided ride through the Georgia Outback and watch the exciting "Wild Australia Show" and Animal Encounters.

The Center is located just 14 miles from downtown Dahlonega, just a few miles from the start of the Appalachian Trail.
