Volunteer Positions 
Course Marshals – Number of volunteers needed- 182: Assigned a designated area along the race course to assist with the coordination and safety of the field of play for all race venues; keep the course clear of pedestrians, spectators, cars, etc.; PR Ambassador: keep spectators informed  Time Requirements varies with position of the race course. Report to position 1:00 – until race personnel pass the volunteers position. Approximately 3:00 for the finish line area.

Hospitality  - Volunteers needed: ( 6.) .Assist with set up/tear down of hospitality/expo areas and check-in at venues in start and finish cities: IMPORTANT that individual is familiar with host city and local government officials, VIP's.
Hospitality Tasks:   Assist with LOC Hospitality Tent decoration (flowers, table skirts, etc.), Assist Tour Hospitality Coordinator work check-in (credentials);meet and greet local guests/VIP's .Hospitality Time requirements:   2 Volunteers needed 8:00 AM-10:30 AM : 4 Volunteers needed  1200- 5:00PM

Media -     Number Volunteers needed (6)  Tasks: Assist Tour Media Operations staff in the Media Office: Assist with Credential distribution, serve as "runners", assist with general Q&A and office set-up
Media : Time Requirement :  3 volunteers  from  9:00 AM -1:00PM and 3 volunteers 1:00PM  – 6:00 PM.    

Medical Control – Number Volunteers needed: (4)  Tasks : Athlete escorts to and from Medical Tent for post-race testing - Volunteers for this position must be male and 21 years of age or older. Medical:  Time Requirement: :  All volunteers check in: 2:00PM – until race finished.

Security – Number Volunteers needed: (10) :  Tasks: Assist Tour Security Staff with access-control, including on-course, hospitality, awards, green room and press conference.  Volunteers will be provided special Security Volunteer T-shirt.   Time Requirements: 1:00 -5:00 PM

Site Decoration/Restoration – Number of volunteers needed: (6):  Tasks: Assist Logistics Crews with hanging and tear-down of banners: on-course, hospitality, etc. Time requirements: Morning set –up (6) volunteers needed : 6:30 – 10:30AM:   Afternoon Breakdown:(6 )volunteers needed : From race finish to completion approximately 2 hours)

Health and Wellness EXPO – Number of volunteers needed (16):  Tasks: Assist Tour EXPO Staff with coordination: guide vendors and exhibitors to their tents for set-up; assist with Festival logistics as needed; assist with Marketing activities in EXPO. Time Requirements: 8 volunteers: Morning Set-up 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM: 8 volunteers Afternoon Tear down: 3:00 – 5:00PM .

Volunteer Check-In - Assist LOC Volunteer Coordinator with set-up, check-in/registration and deployment
 Economic Survey: Number of volunteers needed 8: Task: To verbally interview and record the answers to an economic survey to visitors to the Tour de Georgia located on the Dahlonega Square. Time Requirement: 1:30 -4:00 PM.
