As the heart of Georgia's Wine Country, Dahlonega has two great wine festivals on June 5th & 6th, 2010. Visit the Georgia Fine Wine Festival on the grounds of BlackStock Vineyards & Winery, then head over to Three Sisters Vineyards & Winery to enjoy the Georgia Wine Country Festival. This is sure to be a great weekend in Dahlonega for wine connoisseurs everywhere!

The Georgia Wine Country FestivalThe 9th Annual Georgia Wine Country Festival is presented June 5th & 6th, 2010 at Three Sisters Vineyards & Winery in Dahlonega, Georgia. Attendees will sample Georgia wines from participating wineries & Unique musical entertainment by bluegrass, folk, Americana, and rock & roll musicians from the region will be presented from the Crush Pad Deck. Celebrating 9 years in 2010, this is Dahlonega-Lumpkin County's ORIGINAL Wine Celebration. Wrangler Les Strader of Dahlonega will present horse drawn vineyard wagon rides. The festival will also feature folk art, handmade items, local honey, an alpaca farm exhibit from Ridgeview Farm and many businesses wishing to promote connection to the active lifestyle of Georgia Wine Country. Food may be purchased inside from local Chefs Dairen Roberts, Kelly Finucan and Ooh La La Cheesecakes. Silent auctions will benefit local charities. Festival hours are 10:30-6 on Saturday and 1130-6 on Sunday. Daily Admission: $20 for winelovers 21 & older (includes all tasting samples and keepsake wine glass) $10- designated drivers and under 21. Kids under 12 are FREE!
