Old Fashioned Christmas

old_fashioned_christmasDahlonega's Old Fashioned Christmas is a month-long celebration set into motion on Friday, November 18, 2011 with the Lighting of the Square. A real home-town parade officially bringing Santa to town occurs on Saturday, December 3rd.

Plenty of other festive holiday events continue almost daily throughout December until after New Year’s with caroling, entertainment, wine sampling, live theater Christmas events.

Sleigh Bell Tour of B&B Inns of Dahlonega

December 11, 2011,  2-5pm

Spend the afternoon doing a Self-Guided Driving Tour from one lovely Bed & Breakfast Inn to another in the heart of North Georgia Wine Country.  Each of the four Bed & Breakfast Inn will be decked out for the holidays and offering tours and yummy refreshments at each stop. Tour is Sunday, December 11th, 2011    2pm-5pm.  Tickets cost $10.00 per person and can be purchased at the Dahlonega Visitors Center at 13 S. Park Street, Dahlonega, 706-864-3513, or at participating B&B Inns. Visit www.innsofDahlonega.com for driving map and more information.
