Appalachia? Explore the issues that affect the region in which you live, work,
or play. Through study of the region's rich cultural and environmental
inheritance, you will understand more fully the social and cultural implications
of the choices. This course is a core course in the Appalachian Community
Studies Certificate program. You do not have to be enrolled in the certificate
program to take this course.
