Graham Number And H Lives Art (8:30 pm)
Graham Number & Heather Wilkerson’s come together bringing the sounds of Rock, soul, and Raggae Harmonies with H Musical Art painted and inspired by song @ The Holly Theatre.
Graham's Number is an upcoming Atlanta band with extraordinary potential and a cutting edge new sound. They combine traditional song writing with new innovative sounds, incorporating an array of styles into their music with influences ranging from Jimi Hendrix, and The Beatles, to The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sublime. Grahams Number got its start with guitarist, Nick Sanders, teaming up with best friend, bass guitarist Andy Scherm and drummer Sean Delane, the chemistry these young men have together brought back recollections of greats such as the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, and Rush. Like many of the arena bands of the 70s and early 80s, Graham's Number brings a raw but captivating live performance aimed directly at the very soul of every member in their audience. Their music is young, fresh, fun and yet provides great depth and melody. In this day and age, if ever there was a band that could establish a new revolution in music, then Grahams Number is it. See them live only once and you will want to see them again and again. From the very first note you get the sense that you are about to take an exciting new journey, one you've never experienced before, and you sense that nothing will ever be the same again. Graham's Number performs a mystical journey of Rock, Funk, Soul and Reggae teaming up with H and her musical art. This duo appearance of Rock funk Reggae sounds of Graham Number and H’s inspired musical art will certainly be a vibrant and colorful evening of music and art.
Heather has chosen “H” for her creative signature, and “H Lives Art, Music Moves her Brush” as the defining statement of her art. Her work is very unique as each piece is both inspired by and painted to music. “H” attracted national attention when she submitted an art piece in a contest to appear on Dominique Barteet's OneSole shoes. Her art was voted on by the public, selected and will be featured on a shoe at www.onesole.com Under the Signature Series bearing her name and will be available for purchase in the 2012 spring line collection.
H has made international exposure with her art on shoes, she will be traveling the world with her business manager Ron Wilkerson, she will be at many Art Shows this year, and also traveling with musicians to promote her concert series of which H has painted to three of their songs, this is very special to Heather, as she always says “There is nothing better than bringing music and Art together, it’s a beautiful collaboration”.
Come share an evening at the Holly Theatre with the electric music of Graham Number and meet the incredible art of Heather Wilkerson.

STEVE FORBERT (8:00 pm - 10:00 pm)
$ 18 Advance / $ 20 Day of Show
Grammy Nominee, Steve Forbert, is an enduring performer whose enormous body of work offers plainspoken, heartfelt eloquence and rare musical brilliance. His music and appealing, gritty voice has cultivated an unmistakably American sound - a blend of rock 'n' roll, country, folk and R&B.
Singer-songwriter Steve Forbert had his first major hit in 1979 when he was only 25 years old, shortly after moving to New York City from his hometown of Meridian, Miss where he had been working as a truck driver thirty-plus years later, he’s still writing acclaimed songs and has released 14 studio albums, including a Grammy-nominated tribute to another Mississippi legend, Jimmie Rodgers. He performs around the world and even finds time to pursue his latest artistic adventure, this time in photography: an exhibit of his cell phone photographs recently opened at a Nashville art gallery.

LIVE MUSIC WITH ERICK JONES & FRIENDS! (8:30 pm - 11:30 pm)
No one is really sure if Erick Jones was born in the traditional sense, or he merely appeared one day as if poured through a copper pipe from a moonshine still in some dark North Georgia holler, and his music certainly reflects this. Whether performing with the Atlanta based country-rock band American Anodyne , the North Georgia folk group Ugly Cousin, or solo acoustic his narrative storytelling draws upon the trials of small-town life in the south, drunken revelry, and searching for redemption in the era of the "new depression". All ages welcome. No cover charge.

OPEN JAM NITE At ‘THE MOON’ Hosted By Justin Bridges (6:30 pm - 8:30 pm)
ABSOLUTELY FREE (but tips for host appreciated!) A casual, fun filled, 'on stage' jam with microphones, amplification inputs & monitors provided to help the players AND audience hear a little better. All genres of music and originals are welcome!
We’ve turned our Wednesday ‘Open Mic Nite’ into another ‘jamming’ event as this seems to be a more popular format for folks to get on stage and play. The host will anchor the event and keep folks taking turns leading the jam on their favorite cover or original songs. Electric instruments are welcome, but need to be kept at an ‘acoustic’ level to fit the ‘dinner theater’ atmosphere of our 100 seat listening venue. If more folks show up to play than we can fit on our tiny stage, then we’ll just take turns!

Arbor Day Celebration (11:00 am - 12:00 - noon)
For the 11th year, the Arbor Day Foundation has named the City of Dahlonega Tree City USA community for its commitment to community forestry.
On Friday, February 17, at 11:00 AM, members of the city's Tree Board, city officials, the Georgia Forestry Commission, the Georgia Mountain Master Gardeners Association and interested citizens will gather in the Choice Avenue parking lot for a tree planting and proclamation reading to honor Arbor Day. The Choice Avenue parking lot is located at the intersection of Choice Avenue & South Meaders Street in Downtown Dahlonega.
This year's tree is being donated by the Georgia Mountain Master Gardeners Association.
The Arbor Day ceremony reminds the community of the importance of maintaining the city's trees for economic, ecological, and aesthetic value. Since its beginning, the Tree City USA program has grown nationwide to be the leading community forestry recognition in the United States.
In order to be a Tree City, a community must meet four standards, including having a tree board or department, a tree care ordinance, a comprehensive community forestry program and an Arbor Day observance.
Along with those criteria, the tree cities also recognize that: - Trees promote healthier communities. Leaves filter the air we breathe by removing dust and other particles. - Trees moderate climate, conserve water and provide habitat for wildlife. - Trees in urban areas reduce the heat island effect caused by pavement and buildings. - Properly placed trees can increase property values and buildings in wooded areas rent more quickly and tenants stay longer.
Visit http://www.arborday.org/ for more Arbor Day Foundation information.

LIVE MUSIC WITH TIM MCNARY! (8:30 pm - 11:30 pm)
The band McNary was formed in August 2010 when Dan Sheffield showed up for a drumming audition at Tim McNary's Atlanta apartment. Dan arrived with only a kick drum and a snare drum, but got the gig in spite of his sub par equipment. Two months later, Dan and Tim had hired a bassist and were opening up for the national singer songwriter duo The Civil Wars at The Melting Point in Athens, GA. By March 2011, Dan and Tim had quit there day jobs and started playing music full time, thanks to above average drive and business acumen. After months of hiring and firing bassists, Dan and Tim decided to move the multi-talented Dan up to the bass guitar and search for a drummer. After weeks of auditions, they chose Elliott Phillips in May of 2011. McNary is currently growing their fan base by playing around the southeast. They're proud owners of a '98 Dodge Grand Caravan that takes them from town to town. They've already logged 130 shows in 2011 and plan to enter the studio to record their second studio album in January 2012.. All ages welcome. No cover charge.

LIVE MUSIC WITH GREEN GLASS GOSPEL! (8:30 pm - 11:30 pm)
Green Glass Gospel is born out of a multitude of musical influences ranging from punk, country, folk, and good old fashioned rock & roll as well as the mentality fostered by working, living, and growing up in the North Georgia Hills. The band’s name comes from the fact that Vocalist/Guitarist Tom Verdery’s favorite beers come in glass bottles and the enjoyment of conversation over a few brews with friends that often result in ‘sermons’ shared by all about the ‘good old days’. Subjects ranging from heart break to the uplifting of our brothers and our sisters find their way into the lyrics of the current duo of BJ Dills and Tom Verdery. Both members have a varying back ground with other bands and styles of music as well as a long standing friendship. This band was formed out of a desire to further their musical influences in a way that many people could enjoy regardless of personal music preferences. The hope of this project is to simply enjoy the locals and share a few stories about life and the lessons we learn with those who might find some solace in the words we sing or maybe just a smile and memory. All ages welcome. No cover charge.
