Lumpkin County Elementary School

My name is Tony Herrington and I am the principal of Lumpkin County Elementary School .  This is my seventh year as an administrator in Lumpkin County.  I was born in Gainesville, Georgia and have lived there most of my life.  I completed my Bachelor of Education and Master of Education degrees at North Georgia College and my Educational Specialist degree at

Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee.I have worked in the field of education for more than 20 years, 12 of those years have been in an administrative capacity.

I am married and have a daughter who is 21 and will graduate this year with a degree in education from North Georgia College and State University.  She plans to teach kindergarten or first grade.

I am a fan of all sports, but I am passionate about football.
