Two Sisters Cards & Gifts

I am a nuclear physicist by degree, but a scrap booker by heart.  I worked in the nuclear power and weapons industry for more that 30 years before calling my sister Teresa Gay, (Class of 2005) and bemoaning my job, my faraway location (Las Vegas), and separation from my sons in Chattanooga.  We started brainstorming about opening our own business and soon settled on a Hallmark card shop with a

heavy dose of scrapbooking and various paper crafts.  Because nether of us is an artist, we support the very rich local art community by discounting our art supplies all the time and it has been great fun to meet so many of Dahlonega’s talented people.

I used to be an avid golfer and skier until deterioration of my spine prevents me from doing these things – so glad scrapbooking is not a contact sport!  I have been fortunate enough to live in some great places and to visit many of our cities.  Year ago I was Leadership Chattanooga-one Representative and two State Senators were in my class.  I am looking forward to a rewarding experience in Leadership Lumpkin County.
