 Community Helping Place
I was born and raised in Denver
and went to school at the University
of Colorado. After
working two years in the oil and gas industry I moved to Georgia to be near a boyfriend. This
seemed to have worked out since we have now been married almost twenty-two
years. We settled in Atlanta
where I worked in commercial printing for fifteen years.
Six years ago our
family, which includes a daughter and son,
moved to Dahlonega – my husband’s
hometown. Shortly after our move I began volunteering at the Community Helping Place. This too worked
out as I have now been on staff for three years. I love my work and feel it is
my good fortune to be able to work with individuals who are striving to take
care of their families.
