Eddie Wayne graduated from Gainesville High School in 1978 and North Georgia College in 1982. He immediately started working at Lumpkin County Bank, now Mountain State Bank, and will celebrate his 25th anniversary with the bank in December 2007. Eddie is a graduate of the Georgia Banking School and the Graduate School of Banking at LSU. He lives in Dahlonega with his wife Darlene, a pharmacist with Eckerd Drugs, and his sons Paul and Patrick, who are students at NGCSU and Lumpkin County High School.
