The Crimson Moon Cafe

Crimson Moon CafeKnown as “the southeast’s most intimate music venue,” The Crimson Moon Café is housed in the nationally registered circa 1858 Parker-Nix Storehouse (the second oldest commercial building in Dahlonega) and offers an intimate ‘dinner theatre’ style entertainment experience in a 75 seat venue where every seat has a great view of the stage. Its inclusion on the New York - New Orleans - Nashville entertainment circuit enables the offering of live acoustic performances from the best of the nation’s touring songwriters and solo artists to the some of the nation’s finest Blue Grass, Celtic, Contemporary/World Folk, Blues, Pop, Folk-Rock, Country, Rockabilly, and Acoustic-Alternative bands.  In addition, every Sunday afternoon, an old fashioned ‘pickin & grinnin’ music jam continues a 90 year old tradition where guitars, banjos, fiddles & harmony help carry traditional tunes on to the next generation of music makers!

The Café & Coffee House is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner six days a week, with a generous selection of homemade baked goods, freshly made soups, salads and sandwiches, fruit smoothies, beer and wine and old fashioned sodas as well as the traditional ‘coffee house’ offerings of espresso, coffee, tea and smoothies - all organic of course.

A variety of seating options are available both upstairs and down at ‘The Moon’ – including espresso/wine bar seating downstairs as well as private dining rooms and a New Orleans style porch ‘fresh air’ seating upstairs – one of the best places in Dahlonega to watch ‘the historic Public Square’ go by!  For those who love/live to shop, the downstairs gift gallery also offers an eclectic mix of gifts and/or souvenirs - from Crimson Moon coffee mugs, to Life is Good t-shirts, to handmade area artisan jewelry, journals, and one of a kind greeting cards – all on hand to help support the mission statement of The Crimson Moon Café… to "support, promote, and reward Creativity."

Located on the northwest corner of the historic Public Square of Dahlonega at 24 North Park Street. Contact The Crimson Moon at (706) 864-3982 or visit them at thecrimsonmoon.com.
